The Loveland City School District Board of Education has hired Adam Reed as the next Loveland High School Principal.
“Mr. Reed is a dynamic talent that we are excited to have leading LHS. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience which will lead LHS into the next chapter,” said Loveland Director of Human Resources Chuck Ogdan.
Reed has spent his career in Cincinnati-area schools, serving most recently as Principal of Wyoming High School. Reed has also served as an Associate Principal, and Assistant Principal at Milford High School. Before that, he was a social studies teacher at both Fairfield and Northwest High Schools.
Reed earned both his B.A. and Masters in Education at the University of Cincinnati before earning his Administrative and Superintendent Licensure from Xavier University.
Current Loveland High School Principal Peggy Johnson announced her retirement earlier this year after 39 years in education and 6 years as Principal of LHS. Reed will take on the new role for the 2021-2022 school year.
